Helping women gain financial knowledge and clarity before, after and during divorce
Let me be your starting point
Divorce can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re contemplating or navigating a divorce, you don’t have to face it alone.
I can help you start from a place of knowledge.
I help women navigate divorce with clarity, confidence and financial knowledge. Combining financial expertise with the wisdom of my own divorce experience, I guide you toward a smart, informed, and cost-effective path forward.
Before reaching out to a mediator or attorney, let’s start together. You’ll gain:
· Clarity about your goals
· An understanding of “what to expect while you’re divorcing”
· A clear picture of your full marital financial position and settlement options
Divorce is one of the most significant financial decisions you’ll ever make. You deserve to understand your options and move forward with confidence.
How I can help in 5 steps
1. Set your goals
Together, we will sort through the complexities of your situation, clarify what matters most and create a plan forward.
2. Tell your story
I’ll help you document your narrative clearly so mediators or attorneys understand your goals and position without unnecessary expense.
3. Understand the process and financial factors
Learn what to expect during the divorce process and the key financial factors such as property division, spousal support, and child support.
4. Organize and document your required financial disclosures
We’ll work together to complete your court required marital income, expense, asset and debt statements. You’ll be prepared for support and property division settlement calculations.
5. Build your team
When needed, I’ll recommend trusted attorneys, mediators, and other professionals (i.e., business valuators, realtors, etc.) - and guide you in choosing the right fit for your situation.
Meet Zen
Zen de la Rosa, CPA, CDFA®
Lifted. That was the unfamiliar but welcome emotion I felt immediately after my divorce was finalized. My world felt light. It truly belonged to me.
Getting there wasn’t easy. Despite being a CPA, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, and having over 20 years of financial and project management experience, I still found myself overwhelmed by a long, contentious, and extremely costly divorce. I was working full-time and protecting my children’s well-being while navigating the emotional and financial challenges of a divorce.
This experience ignited my passion to help divorcing women gain essential divorce and financial knowledge from the start.
My mission is simple: To help women take agency of their finances and their future.
I combine professional expertise with my lived experience to guide you through the financial complexities of divorce—so you can focus on what truly matters, avoid unnecessary legal costs, and step into your next chapter with clarity and confidence.
Divorce isn’t just an ending—it’s the beginning of your independence, growth, and financial security.
You don’t have to go through this alone. I’m here for you.
Testimonials
Elizabeth H.
“Marriage is hard. Divorce is harder. From marriage therapy to the eventual lawyering up for the divorce, I had so many questions in between with what’s next? What are my financial rights to our assets? And my lawyer charges $450 an hour even when I only needed simple questions answered over the phone.
To say I was dazed and confused was an understatement. Until I met with Zen. Her knowledgeable financial advice, calming voice and constant reassurance gave me the mental strength to move forward and the confidence I needed to face the unknown.”

“At the most stressful time, it was so reassuring to have Zen guide me in my predicament. Divorce is never easy. It can feel like walking through a dangerous forest blindfolded. She relieves the fear that something is going to suddenly blindside you. Her wisdom, first-hand experience with a difficult divorce as well as professional experience give her the insight to guide you through the most complex dealings and emotional rollercoasters.
Zen has the listening skills of a master and when you add her wisdom, you can lean into that for much needed support. I feel so lucky to have found her, as she was highly recommended by a good friend.”

“Fear kept me marooned in a loveless marriage. I was afraid for my children to grow up in a split family and give up my comfortable lifestyle as my husband is a high income earner. I was afraid of starting life again without his steady income. Being a mom to my two children tied me to my marriage, making it difficult for me to leave.
Thanks to Zen, I am taking steps and am no longer fearful and confused. Having a helpful guide illuminates the dark which divorce can feel like for most of us.”
